Content Provider BenefitsRights owners of music (i.e. DVD’s, live concerts) and of any programme captured in a digital format can now access cinema screens as a promotional platform, or as a straightforward booking on a ticket share basis. Previously the high cost of transferring tape to film stock was a barrier to entry for a lot of rights owners and programme makers in the digital medium. This has changed. What Quantum does for the content provider is broker terms between them and cinema owners and then provide full project management to distribute the content to the participating cinemas. This includes contract drafting, coordination of PR activities between content owners and cinema marketing staff, as well as comprehensive pre-testing and on-site technical supervision.
