ABOUT USQuantum Digital was launched in November 2001. What we do is organise live and pre-recorded programming in cinemas using state-of-the-art digital technology new to the exhibition industry. We do not manufacture technology so we do not make pitches to sell products. We secure the rights to show a new and diverse range of programming in cinemas and integrate all the technology required for these events to reach the big screen. In cases where cinemas are not already equipped with digital technology either the content owner or a sponsor covers the cost of equipment hire. In the past our digital cinema events have included global satellite relays of music and sport as well as local venue hires for interactive games competitions and DVD product launches. We have used high definition solutions as well as standard definition and have experience using all delivery, storage and playback methods including satellite, fibre cable, DVD, hard disc and wi-fi.
